For your projector SONY VPL-MX10, we can only offer a lamp with housing. The main advantage of a lamp with housing is that it is easily installed in the projector. If you want maximum projection quality and reliability without compromise, choose an original lamp with housing. If you want an original lamp for a favourable price, the original bulb inside with housing is the right choice for you. Buy the cheapest generic lamp for in-home projectors if projection quality and reliability are not your top priorities.
All you need to do is loosen a few screws in the projector, remove the entire lamp housing, and replace it with the new one. You can choose from 3 lamp options - original, original bulb inside or generic.
